Hello, I'm trying to install the turn based mod on a Mac, GOG version of the game. I'm able to run the mod manager using mono but the game is not listed in the dropdown menu (no game is listed actually) and I can't select any folder. If I try to select the Pathfinder Kingmaker.app folder the ModManager simply crashes. Pathfinder Kingmaker MacOSX +v101hotfix Free Download – GOG. Avalon Hill's first release after long absence is a severely underrated and undersold game.

Kingmaker is a wonderful PC conversion of an AH board game. Choose to be either Lancaster or York in the famed 'War of the Roses' in medieval England. The goal: have your faction secure a royal heir, get him (or her) crowned King (Queen Regent), and then keep him (her) alive whilst you exterminate all the other royal pretenders.

Solid AI, original premise (you can 'assign' lots of titles to your vassals, and abduct several heirs apparent), and excellent music despite simplistic battle interface.

I actually just found this existed when looking up something on Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and from what I read on Wikipedia about the board game itself, and learning this was made based on the board game, I definitely have to try it. Avalon Hill did some amazing computer takes on pretty sophisticated board games I never did get a chance to play.

Highly enjoyable. The graphics aren't the best but the game play is fun. I love the random events that happen, making for a different game everytime you play.

move espeech.lzh from disc 2 to game folder
move evoice.lzh from disc 3 to game folder
move contents of king-crk disc to game folder
overwrite any files it asks to
at dos prompt type command 'lha e king' to extract files
then in game folder dos prompt type 'lha e espeech' to extract
then in game folder dos prompt type 'lha e evoice' to extract
then in game folder dos prompt type 'crack.com' to crack
then to run game use command 'king'

it always goes back to the exe

Owlcat Games’ Pathfinder: Kingmaker didn’t have a tremendous impact when it launched in October. The fact that it had its share of issues also didn’t help, but the developer has been working to improve performance and clean up bugs. Recently, it announced that three expansions would be coming to the RPG, with the first, The Wildcards, set to arrive on December 6^th.

The Wildcards brings the Tieflings, a new playable race, and the Kineticists, a new playable class to play around with. A new companion who’s a Tiefling Kineticist will also be available, and is a romance option with her own quest. The first expansion can be purchased standalone, but doesn’t currently have a price.

The second expansion is Varnhold’s Lot, which is the meatiest of all three, and releases in February 2019. It’s about 6 to 12 hours long and focuses on Maegar Varn’s trials as he establishes Varnhold. The expansion will take into account the choices made in the main story. Finally, there’s Beneath The Stolen Lands. The third expansion is a new game mode: a rogue-like randomly-generated endless dungeon, complete with a boss fight.

You can explore it in a new game or via your main campaign when it releases in April 2019. If you’re interested in getting all three expansions, the Season Pass is available for $25 on Steam.
